Bill Hampton, General Manager

Bill Hampton is the General Manager of Levee District One.

Bill's biography is as follows:
Bill's full name is William H. Hampton. Bill has been the General Manager of Levee District One for 10 years, part time and 12 years full time. He is a retiree of the Sutter County Auditor's office. He is married to Josefina (Jo) Hampton. Together, they have six children.

Bill's greatest professional accomplishment is: “I convinced the Corps of Engineers to construct the set–back levee at Shanghi Bend; I was the co–author of the grant for the set–back levee approved for Star Bend.”

Sean Minard is the Civil Engineer for Levee District One.

Daniel Kelly
Mr. Kelly is a shareholder at the law firm of Somach, Simmons & Dunn in Sacramento, California.

He regularly advises clients on complex water right matters and issues related to environmental compliance, the Endangered Species Act, the California Environmental Quality Act, and other water and land use related laws. Mr. Daniel Kelly serves as our lead attorney on special matters.

Adam D. Link Mr. Link is an attorney at the law firm of Somach, Simmons & Dunn in Sacramento, California.

His areas of practice include water rights, water quality (focusing on compliance with the Clean Water Act and Porter-Cologne), Propositions 13 and 218, as well as land use and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) related challenges.

Duane's full name is Duane S. Oliveira. He has served as legal counsel for Levee District One for 17 years. Duane's primary profession is attorney–at–law. His private practice law firm is The Oliveira Law Firm, which is based in Benicia, California. Duane is married to Shirley Oliveira and he has one stepdaughter.

Being sworn in as an attorney
Winning a business fraud jury trial in Sutter County and three of four other jury trials throughout the State of California
Advising and helping LD1 win two Proposition 218 elections, as well as successful Proposition 218 elections for RD1660, RD70 and Meridian Volunteer Fire Department
